Amauli Fatehpur power project

Amauli Fatehpur power project is a proposed 1980 MW coal-fired power plant promoted for  by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation and Neyveli Lignite Corporation at Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh, India.

There is no evidence that the plant has actually gone into construction except laying the foundation stone by then Union coal minister Sriprakash Jaisawal. Till Mid 2015, no environmental permits have been recorded by the MoEF, and construction activity has not been reported.
