Hemgir power project

Hemgir power station is a proposed 1,600 (MW) coal-fired power project in Odisha, India. Coal India plans to set up a Rs 9,000 crore power plant in Odisha. The 2×800 megawatt (MW) plant would be at the opening of a coal field in the Mahanadi basin.
