Ghogarpalli Ultra Mega Power Project is a proposed 4000 (MW) coal-fired power project in Odisha, India. In July 2014, the Odisha government had identified land for the proposed power plant at Narlas-Kasinga sub division of Kalahandi district, with coal supplied by Ghogarpalli and Dipside of Ghogarpalli coal blocks. The Odisha government said it was seeking the coal ministry’s approval for the blocks, after which the projects would be put up for bidding.
