Nasik Thermal Power Project is an existing 910 MW coal based thermal power plant promoted by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (Mahagenco) at Nasik district in Maharashtra, India.
Mahagenco is planning to install a 660 MW supercritical unit at the same location as the existing plant. The proposed power plant would be located adjacent to the existing stage-I plant (2 x 140 MW) site at village Eklahare, Nasik Taluka, Nasik District, in Maharashtra state and the optimized land requirement is about 36.6 hectares.
