Gola Power Project (Inland Power)

Inland Power Ltd (IPL) an SPV for power sector has been promoted by one of the recognized finest logistic companies in India, Inland World Logistics Pvt Ltd. IPL is in the process of installing (2X63) MW coal based thermal power plants at Inland Nagar near Gola, District Ramgarh, Jharkhand as an Independent Power Company. The plant is being set up in two phases, 1st phase of 63 MW Thermal Power Plant has already been successfully commissioned and started generation of power from May 2014.

Fuel for the plant will be mixture of coal, washery reject and dolochar in the ratio 50:20:30. Land requirement will be 79.92 acres, out of which 7.88 acres is single crop agricultural land and 72.04 acres is waste land.

Total fuel requirement will be 0.966 MTPA, out of which 0.484 MTPA will be coal; 0.193 MTPA will be washery reject; and 0.290 MTPA will be Dolochar. Coal will be obtained from M/s Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation; washery rejects will be obtained from M/s S & T Mining (M/s Sail & M/s TATA Joint Venture).  Dolochar will be obtained from the Sponge iron Plants. Sulphur and ash contents in coal will be about 0.3% and 52% respectively. Fly ash will be supplied to Bricks and Cement manufacturers. Also a 92 million brick manufacturing plant will be installed. About 0.475 MTPA of fly ash and 0.025 MTPA of bottom ash respectively will be generated.
