Jafrabad power project

Jafrabad power project is a proposed 1320 (MW) coal-fired power station promoted by Sintex power at Amreli district in Gujarat, India.

Sintex Power has proposed setting up a 2 × 660 MW supercritical coal-based power station, as well as a 400 MW gas-based plant, near the villages of Lunsapur, Mithapur, and Kagvadar, in Gujarat. The expected land requirement is 600 acres, and the coal requirement 6.36 million metric tons annually.
