Jagdalpur Steel captive power Plant is a proposed 250 MW coal fired power captive station promoted by NDMC at Jagdalpur , Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, India

According to New Power Generation Projects, “The project is being set up in joint venture with a partner (yet to be selected) to cater to the needs of NMDC’s steel plant in the same location. The company invited expression of interest bids for selecting the developer in May 2011. PFC Consulting is the project consultant. As of January 2012, a new company in the style of NMDC Power Ltd has been floated for setting up the project.”

The captive coal plant is not mentioned in the company’s 2013-4 Annual Report.

In October 2014 NMDC received a terms of reference for a 250 MW coal based captive plant at Villages Madpal and Markel in Jagdalpur
